Recipes - Pork - Zesty Grilled Pork Chops


  • 6 ¾ thick pork chops
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Northern White Cedar Platter Sized Plank soaked in water for 20 minutes - 1 hour


Place chops in a resealable plastic bag. Combine ingredients reserve ⅓ cup for basting. Cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining marinade over chops. Seal bag, refrigerate overnight, turning once. Drain and discard marinade. Place the chops on a grilling plank, then place the grilling plank on your grill. Grill chops over medium heat for 12 - 16 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160° F and juices run clear. Brush occasionally with reserved marinade.
